An open protocol that lets a site notify search engines the instant a URL is published or updated. Bing, Yandex, DuckDuckGo, and several other engines consume it; inkSTR fires it automatically on every publish.
Connecting Google Search Console covers the Google side. IndexNow is provisioned automatically for most setups, and where a platform needs an extra step, the Indexer screen walks you through it.
Google documents the Indexing API for job postings and livestream pages, and treats other content types as best-effort. In practice submissions through a verified property are picked up for many sites, and inkSTR verifies the outcome rather than assuming it. Sitemaps and IndexNow cover the rest.
